For my third project we had to make a self-portrait linocut. So what it is, is that you take a self portrait of yourself and then we have to trace it with a sharpie and with the sharpie you color in everything that is dark or black. Then you take charcoal and rub it on the back of the paper with the image on it. Then we have a wonder cut linoleum block. After that you have to trace it again to have the charcoal on the block. after its on it you trace with a sharpie on the block. By that time your done with the tracing you have to cut out all the white parts of the block. after you do that for an amount of time you choose colors and a roller and roll it on a wet paper and let it dry. I had to do this 4 times. I liked the different colors but the challenging part was to cut out all the white parts and it was a very long process.
